Who We Are

Church Chair (UK) Ltd., are the exclusive distributor and support facility in the United Kingdom for ‘Church Chair Industries Inc.’ of Rome, Georgia, USA, one of the largest manufacturers of church seating in the world. All the chairs in our range are manufactured by them.

Making the Decision

We are happy to deliver, at your convenience, fabric samples, or even a sample of the chair you are interested in, for you and your Leadership Team to view. This will enable you to make an informed decision and also to get useful feedback from members of your church fellowship.

When your church has made the decision to buy chairs from us, the first thing we will do is work out the exact price you need to pay. Since we import our chairs from the USA, it is important that we fix a price based upon current exchange rates.

For this reason, until you are sure you want to make an order, we cannot give you a completely fixed price. We can, however, provide you with a budget price list which will give you a good idea of what the cost per chair will be. This should be sufficient for your church leadership to make an initial decision.

Placing Your Order

When you have made the decision to go ahead with your order, please call us. Your phone call enables us to go ahead and fix the £/$ exchange rate and therefore the price of your chairs and gets the manufacturing process underway. It also gives us the chance to discuss any queries you may have or any special instructions that you wish to give us. You can then, if you wish, follow up this telephone conversation with a letter confirming your order. You do not need to send any money until you receive our initial invoice (see payment terms).

We Deliver

Excellent Value. It's important to point out that we could quote fixed prices, but then we would have to build in to our prices such a large margin to allow for fluctuations in exchange rate that we feel we would not be offering churches the value they deserve. By using our current pricing model we have consistently delivered great value chairs to churches all over the UK now for many years.

Our prices include freight and carriage to your door. Please be ready when we come to deliver as, to save costs, individual churches are responsible for unloading their chairs and disposing of all packaging. So plenty of willing hands are necessary.

Payment

You don’t need to send any money until you receive our invoice. Churches are invoiced for their chairs as follows and, unless otherwise specified, payment is required on receipt of an invoice:

• 50% of total charges with initial order.
• 25% when goods are ready to ship from the factory in the USA.
• 25% on or before delivery to the Church.

VAT is charged on the full purchase price at the rate prevailing when an invoice is raised, currently 17.5%.
